Adjunct Faculty - Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods, Summer Semester 2026, Fully in-person, on-campus No Office Location Part time JR101564 The Opportunity Lesley University’s Graduate Department of Counseling & Psychology is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: GCOUN 6101, Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods. Weekends (7/10-7/12 & 8/7-8/9). Fully in-person, on-campus. Course Description: In this course, students will become familiar with the basic concepts and methodology of quantitative and qualitative research, learn to critically evaluate literature, and address research ethics. Students also learn to develop protocols for socially relevant research projects and to apply research skills for evaluation purposes. (Formerly Research Design and Program Evaluation). Qualifications and Capabilities A successful candidate will have: Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required); Terminal degree (preferred) License in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or relevant field Demonstrated successful experience teaching in the particular discipline at the graduate level (preferred) Experience leading groups and/or teaching courses related to group dynamics (required) Prior clinical work experience (preferred) A commitment to integrating social justice practices into the curriculum Why Lesley Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Lesley University is highly regarded for its graduate and undergraduate programs in the human arts of education, the arts, and applied social sciences.
