Armed Security Officer – Tampa, FL
Full-Time & Part-Time | Immediate Hiring | $20.00–$22.00/hr

Excelsior Defense, Inc. is actively hiring professional Armed Security Officers for immediate deployment across the Tampa Bay area. These positions support active contracts with immediate staffing needs, and we are prioritizing candidates who can start quickly and operate independently.

Compensation

• $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and assignment)
• Full-time and part-time shifts available
• Opportunities for additional hours based on performance

Minimum Requirements 

• Active Florida Class D and Class G licenses
• Minimum 1 year of armed security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to assigned post on time
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
• Strong report writing and communication skills

• Ability to interact with clients, residents, and the public confidently

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain strict access control and monitor all entry/exit activity
• Conduct foot of assigned property
• Deter criminal activity and respond to incidents in a controlled, professional manner
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports
• Serve as a visible security presence to support client operations

Priority Consideration Given To:

• Prior military or law enforcement experience
• Officers with high-end residential, corporate, or access control experience
• Candidates available for immediate start
