The Role

We are currently searching for a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for dispatching service technicians daily to meet customer service needs. Position requires having a strong understanding of the geographical area that the dispatcher is based, great communication, problem solving skills and attention to detail. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.

Responsibilities

1. Handles an extremely high volume of service calls
2. Assigning priority of service call
3. Creates detailed project plans, with all tasks, dependencies, and timelines identified, and keeps those projects continuously updated
4. Ensures scope, schedule, and budget data are communicated to stakeholders as they may evolve throughout a project
5. Continuous communication with service technicians and providing optimal routing
6. Technical support; providing directions, changes in scheduling, etc
7. Notifying customers of delay in delivery schedule
8. Tracks that our service technicians comply with customer requirements
9. Assist in closing service calls and invoicing
10. Collect and review service technician's paperwork and notes for completeness
11. General office duties (faxing, scanning, typing, filing, etc)

Requirements and Skills

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Strong computer skills, excellent communication and organizational skills
3. Proven ability to accurately and quickly develop creative solutions to problems
4. Self-starter with multi-tasking ability and strong interpersonal skills
5. Experience using internet maps and dispatch software
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
7. Must have an above average ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
8. Must work well under pressure and attention to detail is an absolute must
9. Attention to data entry, updating information in a timely manner throughout the day
