About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Security and DevOps to assume a pivotal role in the organization. This senior leadership position is dedicated to the end-to-end ownership of the company's security posture and infrastructure reliability. The successful candidate will be tasked with safeguarding digital assets, strengthening cloud infrastructure, and developing DevOps practices to ensure the platform's speed, availability, and resilience at scale. Key responsibilities include leading a team of security and infrastructure engineers, collaborating with product and software engineering teams, and serving as the executive point of contact for security incidents, compliance audits, and infrastructure strategy. Applicants for the Head of Security and DevOps role at the company must have a proven track record in a senior security, DevOps, or infrastructure leadership position. The role demands strong hands-on expertise with cloud platforms, particularly in the areas of architecture, security, and cost optimization. A deep understanding of modern security practices, including risk management, incident response, and vulnerability management, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and a solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements, especially those relevant to online platforms, is a must, and exposure to digital asset or crypto security is a significant advantage. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels.
