- h3]Location & Work Schedule[/h3]
- p]This position offers a hybrid work schedule. When in the office, the job can be performed from any of Benesch’s Wisconsin regional locations, including Madison, Milwaukee, or Neenah.[/p]
- h3]Key Responsibilities[/h3]
Collaborate with the Project Manager to establish survey requirements and conduct surveys in line with standards and contract specifications.
Perform field data collection and staking activities, prepare survey drawings, and assist with boundary monument searches.
Research records, perform calculations, and analyze measurements for property locations and legal descriptions.
Oversee final plat preparation, provide progress, budget, and technical updates, and ensure quality control of survey‑related project correspondence.
Communicate field issues to the Project Manager, document out‑of‑scope work, and participate in contract negotiations.
[h3]Desired Qualifications[/h3]
PLS certification in the State of Wisconsin.
Associate degree or higher in Survey & Geomatics, Survey Technology, or related program (HS diploma or GED required).
10+ years of experience drafting plats and performing boundary calculations.
Experience processing survey data and completing plats in a WisDOT environment (Civil3D).
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating seamlessly within diverse project teams.
Effective communication skills with project leaders and clients.
Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining clear and concise project records and files.
