Midwest Foods is a wholesale food distributor providing top quality food products to numerous food establishments in Chicago, surrounding suburbs, Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana. Family owned and run company for two generations, we import fruits & vegetables from all over the country and other parts of the world to distribute to local markets. Midwest Foods is looking to hire experienced loaders to join our order fulfillment team!
Loaders are responsible for accurately loading our customer orders into trucks for delivery the following business day. Orders are loaded into our trucks using only an electric pallet jack (EPJ/Rider), in order of the route stops.
Schedule is Sunday-Friday, start times are between 7pm and 9pm, and shifts end when all the trucks are loaded. Saturdays and one alternating weekday off. Availability to work overtime and holidays is required.
