Job Description

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Location: This role is based on-site in Lexington, Kentucky, giving you the chance to lead projects and build strong in-person relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams in a growing market.

Note: Candidates must have senior-level construction project management experience with a general contractor and must be comfortable leading projects, budgets, schedules, client relationships, and field coordination in an on-site environment.

Job Description

  • Lead the overall planning, execution, and successful delivery of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships throughout the life of each project
  • Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Drive schedules and keep projects moving by coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams and subordinate managers
  • Ensure projects are built in accordance with contract documents, design intent, quality expectations, and company standards
  • Enforce company policies, project procedures, and safety expectations on a daily basis
  • Support preconstruction efforts, review new opportunities, and help establish project estimates
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and maintain strong coordination across all phases of the work
  • Oversee self-performed operations where applicable
  • Help strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to new business development opportunities
  • Represent the company professionally in the field and in the marketplace

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience, ideally with progression into senior project leadership
  • Experience working for a general contractor
  • Strong background managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and client management
  • Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and keep projects aligned from start to finish
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working on-site in the Lexington area
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required
