Job Description

Salary: $110,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• Top Secret clearance with the ability to sit for the CI Poly
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience including expertise with Splunk Enterprise Security
• Preferred experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Certifications such as GIAC Continuous Monitoring (GMON), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), and GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)

• Monitor computer networks for security threats
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and security breaches
• Document security breaches and evaluate the associated impact
• Collaborate with the security team to conduct testing and identify network vulnerabilities, including penetration testing
• Address and rectify detected vulnerabilities to uphold security standards
• Recommend IT security best practices
• Implement security measures and manage software to safeguard systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and encryption programs
• Conduct analysis to verify intrusion alerts and create forensically sound copies of files
• Decrypt data and provide detailed technical summaries
• Analyze recovered data for pertinent information and perform dynamic analysis such as timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis
• Execute real-time cyber defense tasks to support Incident Response Teams (IRTs)
