Position Overview
The Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring Health and Safety compliance at the facility as well as ensuring stringent environmental compliance at the site level. This role is of critical importance at Stella-Jones, reflecting the company's dedication to upholding the highest standards in environmental stewardship, especially in the context of pressure treating wood products.

Working Conditions: Both indoor and outdoor
Physical Surroundings : Work in office environment with significant time spent in production operations
Adverse Working Environment : Exposure to noise from operating equipment, extreme temperatures from working outside at all times of the year, dirt, dust within the yard, hazards created by operating equipment and being near operating equipment, exposure to hazardous material requiring safety adherence and PPE equipment
Physical Effort: Requires limited physical effort for position
Extensive Hours: 40+ hours a week may be required for 24/7 operation of plant
